Are your dreams worth more than your rent? "Because I'm Funny" is a short film that takes place in Brooklyn about Sadie, a 20-something soul-searcher, who is trying to make a career in comedy, but is often faced with the realities of life- rent, job, friends, networking, parties, bagels.

This coming of age story features completely improvised performances, an original soundtrack, and an artwork animation by Ashley Arbaiza.

Starring Johnna Scrabis (UCB, College Humor, Mean Book Club), Sarah Burton (Mean Book Club, UCB, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post), Ellie Skrzat (Comedy Central), and many more comedians and talented folks!
